I started riding my bike a couple of years ago and I was mostly just riding for fun, so it was cool to see what it would be like to work with a professional and have an individualized training plan.

I had A LOT of questions about training, nutrition, strength workouts, strategies, equipment…basically everything, and Cole took the time to patiently answer my many questions. It was great to finally learn how to manage my fatigue and train sustainably.

Cole was also very responsive and understanding when it came to changes that I needed to make to my schedule. Riding bikes is just a hobby for me, so sometimes when work and life became overwhelming, he was quick to adjust my schedule accordingly.

He also encouraged me to try out racing, which I never would have thought about seriously trying until he suggested it. With his workouts, I felt strong enough to stay comfortably with the group during the races and not get dropped! I appreciate that he took extra time before and after the race to prep and debrief, and it was really informative to discuss race tactics.

Most importantly, Coach Cole is a friendly, approachable person, which I think is the most essential quality for a coach. I felt like I could be honest with him about my progress and I did not feel like I had to hide being stressed or overwhelmed. I would highly recommend Coach Cole to anyone!
